Line Of Fire
In high-risk environments like construction and maintenance, split-second decisions save lives. This training module is designed to help professionals recognize and react to ‘Line of Fire’ hazards before they lead to serious injuries, enabling them to anticipate potential hazards to ensure they always stay out of harm’s way.

Topics covered in this training
Every module combines interactive theory with hands-on virtual practice. In Line of fire, users will explore the following topics:
Learn to define a “Line of Fire” as the path energy or a hazard travels when something fails. Using examples such as falling objects, moving machinery, and spraying liquids, trainees learn to predict how loads and vehicles move so they can identify danger zones before an incident occurs.
Explore the risks that come with limited visibility, such as standing in a forklift’s blind spot or failing to check for unsecured overhead objects on scaffolding. Trainees learn that the line of fire is not always at eye level, and that unseen hazards are often the most dangerous.
Safety zones must be constantly reassessed as conditions change. This module teaches trainees to recognise how a previously safe area can become hazardous, for example when wind causes a crane’s load to swing beyond its original barriers, or when a new task begins nearby.
Trainees actively make the worksite safer by completing practical tasks, such as placing safety pylons to mark danger zones, securing loose tools on scaffolding, and turning isolation valves to stop high-pressure leaks. This builds the muscle memory and confidence to act decisively under pressure.
Realistic animations place trainees inside incidents to show the direct consequences of unsafe positioning. Rather than abstract warnings, trainees witness how a split-second decision, or the failure to act, determines the outcome. The goal is to make the stakes visceral and memorable.
Why VR works
VR training turns theory into action. Learners make choices, see outcomes, and remember what matters.
It’s realistic, engaging, and measurable, helping teams train safely and effectively anywhere.
Faster training
Clients have reduced procedure training from two hours to just two minutes using VR.
Realistic scenarios
Immersive environments trigger emotion and recognition, leading to better memory and safer behaviour in real situations.
Measurable results
Track progress, collect data for audits, and prove the impact of your training.
Scalable and repeatable
No external trainers needed. Train anywhere, in any language, with one consistent experience.
