Every module combines interactive theory with hands-on virtual practice. In this Fire Safety Training, users will explore the following topics:
Participants learn how to critically evaluate a scene to ensure it is safe before providing aid. They practice checking a victim’s consciousness by shaking their shoulders and determining if their breathing is normal or represents a life-threatening “gaping” sound.
The training teaches participants how to remain calm while giving concise instructions to bystanders specifically how to designate someone to retrieve an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and how to provide essential information to emergency services.
Users receive live feedback on their hand placement, compression depth, and rhythm. The training emphasizes maintaining a “good pace” (approx. 115 BPM) to ensure effective blood circulation.
The module guides users through the 30:2 cycle, explaining the proper technique for tilting the head, closing the victim’s nose, and opening the mouth to deliver rescue breaths effectively.
Participants learn the step-by-step process of using an AED, including powering on the device, applying pads to a bare chest, and the importance of staying clear during heart rhythm analysis and shock delivery.
