Mateco | Company Showcase 360
The 360-degree videos created for Mateco provide an immersive and dynamic way to showcase their company and products, enhancing brand recognition, increasing client engagement, and driving qualified leads across Europe.
Client
Mateco is a leading provider of aerial work platforms for the rental market, with over 160 locations across Europe. Their fleet includes more than 4,500 machines across 700 sizes and applications. As a major international player, Mateco emphasizes sustainability and corporate social responsibility (CSR).
The Question
Mateco wanted to present their company and products in a powerful, innovative way. They sought new communication tools to tell their story, highlight their services, and showcase how they support clients. VR Owl was asked to position the company and its products using cutting-edge technology.
The Solution
VR Owl created two 360-degree videos: one focusing on the company and the other on their products. Using 360-degree cameras, drones, aerial work platforms, and driving shots, combined with advanced visual effects from Unreal Engine 5, the videos deliver a dynamic and immersive experience.
The Company Video
The company video begins with a globe zooming in on Europe, the Netherlands, and finally Rotterdam. A drone shot captures the Erasmus Bridge with a Mateco transport truck crossing it. The video guides viewers through various company departments and real-life applications of their equipment. It concludes with an aerial shot showcasing all Mateco’s locations in the Netherlands. The combination of drone footage, vehicle shots, and visual effects creates a compelling narrative that keeps viewers engaged.
The Product Video
The 360-degree product video transports viewers to a virtual construction site built entirely in Unreal Engine 5. It highlights Mateco’s machines in action during various stages of a construction project. For instance, a telescopic boom lift is shown during building assembly, while a scissor lift is used for light installations. Each machine is animated and annotated, providing in-depth information while delivering a visually impressive and informative experience.
Presentation
The videos target Mateco’s potential clients across the European construction industry. Account managers use PICO G2 4K VR headsets with custom software to present the videos during client meetings. High-potential leads receive VR Cardboards to watch the videos on YouTube. Additionally, the videos are available on Mateco’s website, making them accessible to a broad audience.
