Question

Tele2 designed their own Virtual Reality headset in collaboration with Jan Taminiau. The headset has an unique design with a 7-inch display on the front. Tele2 was looking for an unique way to launch their new VR headset and their new campagne #StreamMetStijl.

Solution

The campagne #StreamMetStijl got revealed through a livestream. The event started at the moment the invitees walked into a surreal white space. They sat on barstools and subsequently entered the virtual world. In the livestream the Holland Next Top Models Loiza and Montell were walking around in the space, and together with Jan Taminiau they unveiled the VR headset. After this presentation the attendants were shown a message on the screen of the unique VR headset which stated they could remove it. As it turned out they were sitting across Jan and the models, and the headsets could be admired in reality.

Result

The event was very successful and gathered an incredible amount of media attention. The visitors were surprised by the effect of the livestream which resulted in numerous publications about the event.
